Cairns Christmas Tree Light-up 2023
Council’s Christmas Tree will be lit up on 1st December!
Switching on the Council’s Christmas Tree lights at the Lagoon Plaza traditionally marks the start of the festival season.
WACKADOO! Everyone’s favourite blue heeler Bluey, and her little sister Bingo, will be putting on three real life performances at the light-up of the Christmas Tree on the Cairns Esplanade.
Come down in your best Christmas attire and catch this adorable duo, Bluey & Bingo live on stage with their special FREE Christmas Shows (20 mins each)
The Christmas Tree lights will be switched on at 7pm, by the Mayor, and the winners of the Christmas eCard Competition.
Bluey & Bingo show will be delivered three times to delight the younger members of our community (Note – all shows will be the same):
5.30pm events starts
5.35pm Bluey & Bingo Christmas Show #1
6.15pm Bluey & Bingo Christmas Show #2
7.00pm Christmas Tree lit up
7.15pm Bluey & Bingo Christmas Show #3
8.00pm event finishes
