Ali and Steve started roasting specialty coffee in Cairns in 2010, and their passion for high quality locally-roasted coffee paired with exceptional customer service and stalwart social responsibility is still burning strong.

In living their mission – coffee that does good, White Whale seasonally selects the best green beans from the top coffee growing regions of the globe and are committed to creating equitable and ethical relationships with coffee producers.

Since 2019, White Whale has been an avid supporter of the Reef Restoration Foundation, donating a percentage of all coffee bean sales towards RRF’s coral nursery program, which aims to regenerate damaged portions of the Great Barrier Reef.
