For the first time ever, Singapore Airlines will deploy an Airbus A350-900 widebody aircraft between Cairns and Singapore four times per week commencing from 31 March 2024. Thousands of additional visitor seats and more scope for Far North Queensland exporters will be the broad benefit of this historic moment in the airline’s operations to Cairns.
Richard Barker, Chief Executive Officer of Cairns Airport, will unpack how this increase in capacity, for both passengers and cargo, will support the local tourism industry as well as local producers.
