Chinese New Year 2024 – Hou Wang Chinese Temple & Museum
Join us for FREE family fun open day, a day filled with joy, prosperity, and cultural delights as we usher in the Year of the Dragon.
Our celebration will feature a diverse array of activities and demonstrations for all ages.
Step into a world where tradition meets history, and join us in celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese community. Nestled in the heart of Atherton, the Hou Wang Chinese Temple and Museum invites you to embark on a journey through time. Explore the intricate architecture, immerse yourself in the vibrant colours, and discover the rare 1903 timber and iron Chinese temple.
Come and experience the excitement of Taekwondo exhibitions and classes, Chinese Tea tasting and let the kids have their faces painted with adorable Chinese Zodiac symbols for just $5.00. Check out the dragon kites and indulge in some delicious food.
