Ink Still Life Drawings with Jamie Lee Simpson, ages 4-9 at Cairns Art Gallery
Let loose and use the flowing qualities of ink to draw from a still life setting. Learn how to draw while referring to a subject by eye, or alternatively from a printed out photo reference. Be inspired by various characteristics like shape, space and proportion, then get creative and exaggerate or reimagine these details. This class will draw inspiration from the works of Brett Whiteley, featured in our exhibition Modernist Connections.
All materials are provided, and students can be dropped off to enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
