Intaglio Printing with Kristilea Oliveri, artist, ages 9-14 at Cairns Art Gallery
Fancy trying your hand at printmaking? This fun workshop is an excellent introduction to this artform and intaglio technique is an excellent gateway to this medium.
Plan your design first in permanent marker onto an acetate plate, then carve using a needle point tool. Then print your design on paper using your plate.
All materials are provided, and students can be dropped off to enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
