I, OBJECT explores the intricate relationships Indigenous Australian artists have with traditional objects, examining their cultural significance and historical impact. The exhibition juxtaposes historical artifacts with contemporary works, highlighting how these objects are integral to Indigenous identity and ancestral history.
Located at Bulmba-Ja Arts Centre in Cairns, this season also includes the vibrant Northsite Art Market – 30 x 30 Edition, showcasing local talent from Far North Queensland. Don’t miss this immersive cultural experience!
