Observational Drawing with Keelie Nicholls, artist, ages 4-9 at Cairns Art Gallery
Join artist Keelie Nichols in the Art Gallery exhibition space for a closer look at Janet Fieldhouse’s sculptural exhibition Material Culture. Discuss the forms, shapes and materials used in the exhibition and be inspired to create your own 2D drawing of the works on display. Observational drawing is a great way to hone drawing skills while also tapping into critical thinking skills.
All materials are provided and students can be dropped off to enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
