Principles of Art with Jamie Lee Simpson, artist, ages 9-13 (Term 4) at Cairns Art Gallery
Fine tune your art skills with the base knowledge of the principles of balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, pattern, rhythm and variety. These topics will be applied in a variety of classes, from exploring observational skills to learning to compose an art piece. Learn to capture what you see and let your creativity flow with various drawing materials such as pencils, pens, markers, charcoal and pastels. All materials will be provided, and our teacher will guide your artistic journey to explore the ground basics of drawing.
