Reef Lights – Where the Rainforest Meets the Reef – Cairns Festival 2023
The city of Cairns lights up in celebration of where the rainforest meets the reef in Reef Lights – an awe-inspiring and immersive sensory light experience.
Combining two World Heritage-listed icons, the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest, Reef Lights celebrates the interconnection of these two magical worlds nightly as part of Cairns Festival.
Under the creative direction and expertise of internationally renowned light artists, LASERVISION, guests are immersed in an impressive light journey that harnesses the remnants of these ancient lands and washes the Cairns Esplanade with a kaleidoscope of colour.
The projection show runs every 30 minutes starting at 7pm with the last show beginning at 9:30pm.
