Selina Kudo – Jump at the Tanks Arts Centre

Jump is a multi-media installation paying homage to the backyard trampoline, while exploring themes of dreams and growing up in suburban and regional Australia.
Many of us spent endless childhood days on trampolines. it was our morning coffee; it gave us inspiration. We believed we could be anything or do anything. Jump will open dialogue about our relationship with place, time and gender. These themes are explored through a series of reconstructed trampolines and photography.
Selina Kudo trained in photography and is now a Cairns based emerging conceptual artist, presenting new work not exhibited before.
