TESS Seminar – Creating Systems Change in a Time of Crisis

Wed 22 September 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

TESS Seminar Creating systems change in a time of crisis: Can we build Earth-centred societies and economies that thrive within ecological limits?

Event by Centre for Tropical Environmental and Sustainability Science-TESS.

This is a JCU Public Seminar being held live at the Crowther Lecture Theatre at the JCU Smithfield Campus.

We’re looking forward to Dr. Michelle Maloney (co-founder of AELA: The Australian Earth Laws Alliance), talking live in Cairns on: Creating systems change in a time of crisis: Can we build Earth-centred societies and economies that thrive within ecological limits?

Join us and hear about the amazing, interconnected networks and projects happening around Australia and around the world, that are building our new futures out of the old and fighting to bring life-centred governance into our old, extractivist and destructive, economic, legal and political ways of doing things.

This event will be followed by drinks and refreshments.

You can also attend this seminar online on Zoom and YouTube.

Please visit the TESS website for the streaming links, abstract and speaker bio.
