Up-Cycled Inspiration Journal with Kate Hunter, artist at Cairns Art Gallery
Join local Artist Kate Hunter as she guides you in the creation of your own up-cycled inspiration journal.
Enjoy the process of choosing different materials for a journal that fits your every need, where that may be a new hobby or an everyday diary. Pick from a range of coloured cardstock to thrifted graft paper sheets before being tutored in folding, assembling, trimming, and stitching methods to create a stylish finished design.
Participants are encouraged to bring along any special papers, notes or fabrics from home collections.
The workshop will take you through creating a mini journal, tutoring you in the methods of journal making with a saddle stitch bind. Once this process is established, participants will then move to make a full A5 sized journal, paired with all your personal customisation.
