MND Queensland is a charity supporting Queenslander’s with Motor Neurone Disease to access care and services needed today to help provide independence and comfort for longer.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) affects the nerves (motor neurones) that communicate between the brain and the muscles that enable us to move, speak, swallow and breathe.
MND Queensland relies heavily on the generosity and efforts of the community to assist them in raising much needed funds and awareness for their specialised care and support services for families living with Motor Neurone Disease.
There are many ways you can help whether you have an idea for an event that will help increase awareness, in tribute of someone or an activity to fundraise to provide support for Queenslanders with MND. It could be a golf day with your friends, a sausage sizzle at your football club, a gala dinner with your work colleagues, a family fun day with your neighbours, a swimming competition at the local pool… anything you want! Or simply select from pre-existing fundraising events such as DrinkTea, MuteMe, IceBucket Challenge, Your Own Walk to D-Feet MND and more.
